Description:

Migraines are a complex neurological condition affecting millions, yet treatment often focuses narrowly on symptom suppression. This course explores an integrative model for migraine management, combining pharmacologic interventions with evidence-based complementary therapies.

Learners will examine how nutrition, sleep hygiene, behavioral therapy, supplements, and emerging neuromodulation strategies can be used alongside standard medications to improve outcomes. Case studies and real-world treatment protocols are included to demonstrate how integrative strategies can be adapted to diverse patient needs.

Whether you're new to integrative medicine or looking to deepen your migraine toolkit, this session delivers practical insights backed by the latest research.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify core lifestyle factors that contribute to migraine frequency and severity.

  • Evaluate common nutraceuticals (e.g., magnesium, riboflavin, CoQ10) used in integrative migraine treatment.

  • Recognize non-pharmacologic interventions such as CBT, sleep optimization, and neuromodulation devices.

  • Develop a patient-centered migraine treatment plan that integrates traditional and complementary approaches.
